I was a professional travelling musician for about 10 years.
One day I was doing some work in northern Mississippi and I saw an expert software engineer coding. It was the first time I'd ever seen code. It stuck out to me. His skill was so great - it was obvious from watching his work that he knew what he was doing. It was probably one of the cooler things I'd ever seen.
I continued working as a musician for a couple of years after that but I would pick up and study code/software/computers. There was so much to learn.
Since then I've been lucky enough to work in a variety of languages, frameworks, databases, cloud providers, and projects.
I love reading about software with a focus on clean code and SOLID principles.
Always learning, growing, and looking to connect with people doing the same.
Probably somewhere in my about me section, I can't tell you more without telling about my amazing wife Amandine. If my life has made any sense up to now, it is so I could meet her. We also have two cats - Croissant and Rillette - they're subpar and poorly behaved.
